Description

We have been partnered with Benchmark Refurbishment to complete a large unit fit-out for B&M Bargains in Liverpool. We have been working on it for 8 months and have now completed phase 1 of the build. The project included office partitioning, fire rating, comms room fit-out, kitchenettes and more. We are very happy with how this project has turned out.

Main office:

The main office was the starting point for the project as this was an important part of where they would store important information. The main office installation consisted of:

Partitioning: With a total of 625 sqm of partitioning just for this office section, it shows the extensive size of the project. This partitioning was 3.7m high to the undersize of the mezzanine in situ.

Ceilings: The ceilings came to a total of 1024 square metres. They were fitted with 600×600 Rockfon Artic Tegular edge ceiling tiles.

Dry lining: A Total of 308 square metres of dry lining was installed to the outer walls. Tape, filled and painted with 2 coats of white emulation.

Transport office:

There were 2 transport offices fitted during the project, North and South. They both had identical specifications which included:

Stud partitioning: A total of 363 square metres of metal stud partitioning. 1no sound block board on either side and sound insulation. All walls were tape, filled and painted.

Dry lining: The dry lining covered a total of 397 square metres of outer walls.

Suspended ceilings: There was a total of 256 square metres of ceilings which were specked to include Rockfon Artic Tegular edge tiles.

Comms Room (South only): This room was a special requirement including a total of 60 square metres of metal stud partitioning. 2no 12.5mm fire line boards either side. Tape, filled and painted with 2 coats of white emulsion. There was also 25 square metres of MF Ceiling installed to this section which was also tape, filled and painted white.

Worksop/ Maintenance store:

The workshop room consisted of one off three-sided enclosure measuring 10,026mm by 41,117mm by 10,026mm. Height throughout was an overall 2,200mm with a door opening height of 2,200mm. It was finished with a grey RAL 7037 paint.

Extras:

Doors: There was a total of 37 doors which were all fire doors. All frams and ironmongery were fitted to each door.
Kitchenettes: A total of 2 kitchenettes where installed through the process, 1 in the main office and 1 in main dining room.
Smokers cage: The smokers cage was a 3 sided enclosure with an electric strike cylinder lock type door. It has a mesh roof panel which is fitted with UX450 roof panels.
