Squab Evesham Extension
Description
Just MCP delivered a large-scale mezzanine and fire rating package for the Squab Evesham extension. The project centred on creating extensive new floor space, with associated fire protection, staircase access and partitioning works.
Mezzanine installation
The installation included 1850m2 of mezzanine flooring, formed as two 925m2 floors, with two quad flight staircases providing access.
Fire rating
Fire rating works included 1850m2 of 600×600 AMF STAR ceiling tiles with a 24mm lay-in grid, 268 one-hour fire rated column cases in white and 60 linear metres of fire barrier formed across four 15m runs.
Partitioning
Partitioning works included a 32m2 loading bay partition, ply lined for sliding door support, plus two stair enclosures formed from 100mm metal stud partitioning, tape filled and painted with two coats of white emulsion.
Fire doors
Six FD60 fire doors were supplied with frames, furniture, relevant signage and 150×1500 vision panels.
